TimberTech Tips: To reduce moisture build-up from beneath the deck there must be a minimum of 12" high unobstructed continuous airspace along three sides of the deck to allow for cross ventilation.    Walnut are designed to mimic the look and feel of real tropical
   hardwoods. To best accomplish this effect, dark color accents and some
   variation in grain pattern are manufactured into each board. Special
   attention should be given to plank handling during installation to minimize
   scratches, nicks and grooves, and preserve the beauty of the tropical
