SKOKIE, IL—AZEK Building Products, a developer of low maintenance, premium building materials, announces its partnership with the Dayton Dragons, including naming rights and product donation to the Dragon’s Lair at Fifth Third Field. Come April 1st, attendees will now be able to enjoy Dayton Dragons games from the newly-designed space featuring AZEK Deck’s Vintage Collection in Mahogany with a Dark Hickory accent. Not only will the performance decking made in nearby Wilmington, Ohio enhance the Dragons Lair through its pleasing aesthetics, it will also stand the test of time due to its durability and ability to resist mold, mildew, stains, scratches, insects, rotting and fading. The material also doesn’t splinter, warp or cup.
“Our new and improved Dragons Lair is a high-end, all-inclusive hospitality area, perfect for private entertaining and hosting of clients, employees and families,” said Robert Murphy, Dragons President & General Manager.
AZEK Building Products places a strong emphasis on the brand’s ability to contribute to its local community, and the company’s Wilmington ties run deep. The city is home to a local office and factory where the company makes AZEK and TimberTech products to supply to contractors all over the country. Originally, the Wilmington factory only produced TimberTech’s capped wood composite products, but the company is continuing to expand and invest in the community with increased production at the facility to include AZEK’s premium building products, as well.
While this is the first major opportunity for the brand to donate product specifically, AZEK has been steadily contributing to the community for years by regularly participating in charitable causes including local food collections during the holidays.
