SKOKIE, IL—AZEK, a CPG Building Products brand with more than 25 years of manufacturing experience making and marketing premium, low maintenance exterior building products, has announced that it has won the Hanley Wood 2015 Brand Builder Award for Business-to-Business Mobile Marketing. Hanley Wood, a premier building, construction and design publisher and marketing company, presented this award during their recent 2015 Foundations Conference.
The Brand Builder Awards recognize the most innovative and effective marketing campaigns throughout the residential and commercial design and construction industries. Companies selected for recognition have executed campaigns that generate sales, motivate buying behavior and inspire customer loyalty. More than 80 companies submitted entries in ten categories, ranging from traditional advertising campaigns to social and mobile marketing strategies to channel marketing programs.
The free AZEK iPad App, developed by Augmented Reality (AR) expert Marxent Labs, makes it easier than ever for homeowners and contractors to see AZEK Trim, Deck, Rail, Porch, Siding and Paver products on a home in realistic 2D and 3D views. After exploring a variety of 2D scenes, the user can enter the world of cutting-edge 3D technology to personalize the house, rotate it 360 degrees, change product colors and then zoom in to make sure it’s perfectly designed, making it easy to imagine special family moments on the front porch, back deck, or even on the paver driveway or pathway.

With the easy-to-use AZEK App, contractors can work with their customers to collaborate on deck designs, giving them flexibility to easily swap out deck colors and textures, railings, baluster infills and lighting – all providing a realistic image of how a deck will look once completed. Prior to the app’s launch, contractors had difficultly getting customers to fully grasp how a color or railing would complement their house, but the app allows them to show the customer an accurate image close to how the final deck will look.
