In 2016, a TimberTech deck in Nova Scotia was chosen as the winning entry in the Archadeck Outdoor Living Design Excellence competition.
Selected from a field of over 40 submissions, the stunning deck was created by the Archadeck Nova Scotia team, and features TimberTech’s premium decking, railing systems, and lighting throughout the elaborate multi-level and multi-functional deck.
The award-winning project showcases decking from the TimberTech PRO line in Pecan with a Mocha accent, and a warm texture that lends it an artisanal, handcrafted look.
These premium boards are built to endure the harshest weather, and offer exceptional resistance to stains, scratches, mold, and moisture. The deck also features Evolutions Rail Contemporary in Traditional Walnut.
Riser Lights were added for a modern, linear look that complements the deck’s timeless aesthetic.
Designed to be an outdoor room that functions as a true extension of the home, the deck spans more than 1,000 square feet with a large dining area, outdoor kitchen, sitting area, and fire pit.
The deck design sensitively aligns with the home’s natural setting, which includes an ocean view and original stone walls. Glass panels showcase the home’s beautiful surroundings while creating a stunning, open space perfect for entertaining.
