The Coastal “low country” of South Carolina is known for comfort food with a seafood flair, hospitality and expansive front porches that capture breezes, sunsets and scenic seaside views. It’s a natural setting for TimberTech, which is partnering with Coastal Living magazine’s 2018 Idea House in Habersham, SC.
Seven miles from scenic Beaufort, the Idea House chose TimberTech Porch and Rail not only to welcome visitors with the materials’ natural beauty, but also because the products make a perfect pairing in a climate which experiences harsh, coastal weather and steamy heat. Premier Railing’s Victorian style complements the home’s New Urbanism-meets-classic look, while the porch planks in Oyster color feature a light palette that matches the light grays found in the area’s natural surroundings.
Every year Coastal Living’s ‘Idea House’ captures the best in architecture, building, and decorating. In addition to enduring the coastal weather, TimberTech Porch and Rail products resist stains, scratches and fading, as well as mold, mildew and moisture damage.
The Idea House, designed by Moser Design Group Inc., takes full advantage of the coastal location, with fishing and boating nearby. It opens to the public for tours from July 5 – Oct. 28, 2018. To learn more visit Coastal Living magazine’s event page here.
