The Best Decking for Docks
From lakefront to seaside, TimberTech has more ways to beautify your dock — without the waterfront worries.
The material makes the difference
TimberTech Advanced PVC boards are slip and fade resistant, as well as highly resistant to damage from moisture, mold, and mildew. Durable enough for any lifestyle and location, they’re the best choice for moisture-rich environments, and coastal climates.
Ideal over water — and underfoot

Unrivaled moisture resistance
Made with 0% wood, Advanced PVC offers the best resistance to mold and other moisture damage.

Better in wet & dry conditions
Up to 40% better slip resistance than competitors, so you can feel safer around water, boats, and lifts.

Stays cooler to the touch
Up to 30 degrees cooler1 on sunny days, keeping your feet more comfortable all summer long.
MAX boards: Made 50% thicker
All of our Advanced PVC boards are a great option for dock and marine builds, but MAX boards are made specifically for docks. These 1 ½” boards are 50% thicker than standard Advanced PVC boards — for a sturdy underfoot feel, minimal movement, and serious durability. Plus, they can span 24″ on center, making them ideal for docks and boardwalks.

Start planning your dock
1Although TimberTech Advanced PVC decking is cooler to the touch than many other deck board products, all decking products will get hot in the sun. Additionally, the darker the decking color, the hotter it will feel. For hotter climates, consider choosing a lighter color. 2Moisture testing was conducted internally. This test simulates 49 days of moisture exposure by placing saturated sponges in continuous contact with the underside of deck samples. 3An independent, third party conducted fade testing under ASTM specifications D7032 using the ASTM standard practices G154, which exposes the boards to 2,150 hours of accelerated weathering. 4Depending on environmental conditions, TimberTech Composite Deck colors may appear to change over time as part of the natural weathering process consistent with the warranty guarantees where applicable.
