When they needed a beautiful space big enough for a crowd, Jon and Lucy chose TimberTech.
Jon and Lucy added a TimberTech deck on their last home, but space constraints kept them from building their dream deck. After moving to a larger home closer to their extended family, they were finally able to bring their deck vision to life — a spacious, multi-functional outdoor escape that the whole family would gravitate toward. “With our first deck, we learned a lot from the process in terms of what we wanted and liked,” said Jon. Jon and Lucy moved into their home to be closer to family— a lot of family. With both sets of in-laws down the street and a host of siblings, nieces, and nephews nearby, they wanted an outdoor space that would welcome not just them and their kids, but the whole family.

For both Lucy and Jon, their TimberTech deck is a sanctuary they retreat to for “me time.” Lucy likes to sit and watch the sun rise and drink her morning coffee, while Jon escapes there to decompress with a good book after work.
