Marianne’s entertainment space

Wilton, CT

Homeowner Marianne has a busy schedule and love for entertaining. She also had three wood decks that were unsightly, deteriorating, and in need of an upgrade. Marianne partnered with TimberTech to make sure her new outdoor spaces fit both her life and style. And after comparing the many decking options available, she knew our Advanced PVC was perfect for her Connecticut home.

In addition to cracked, chipped, crumbling boards and the safety hazard they create, the old decks had an uneven surface that detracted from the stunning architectural features of the home.

Marianne chose Mahogany from the Vintage Collection to perfectly match the mahogany planks in the covered ceiling.

Wanting a deck with both high functionality and design impact, Marianne partnered with designer Luke Scully with GlenGate. This dining area right off the kitchen is a great example of their collaboration — and whether Marianne is enjoying a family meal or hosting a lively gathering, she can rest easy knowing her TimberTech Decking is stain resistant and easy to clean.

Together, the decor and sustainable TimberTech Decking are in harmony with the house and the environment. Made from up to 65% recycled material, our rich Mahogany boards are perfectly complemented by the earthy color palette.

Marianne now has the color she always wanted from her wood deck. Our Advanced PVC boards are engineered to maintain their vibrant, rich color and are protected by a 50-Year Fade & Stain Limited Warranty — so her deck will be beautiful for decades.

An outdoor living room with lounge chairs and a modern rock-shaped table in the middle create intimate spaces throughout an otherwise large outdoor space.

To help break up the uninterrupted expanse of Marianne’s long balcony decks, a series of intimate, inviting spaces were created for people to socialize, relax, read, and more. No matter how the spaces are used, durable, low-maintenance TimberTech maintains its real wood looks without sanding, staining, or sealing — ever.

Whether it’s sunny summer days, the rainy season, or a snowy Connecticut winter, TimberTech Advanced PVC is engineered to hold up in any climate. It’s UV resistant in the sun and slip resistant in the rain. Plus, Advanced PVC is made with zero organic material, making it our most moisture-resistant decking — so it won’t swell, crack, warp, or suffer moisture damage like mold and mildew.
