As a professional golfer, Ken Duke is on the road — a lot. So, it’s important to have a space to relax and enjoy his family and downtime. “I play golf for 30 weeks out of the year, and I’m on the water the rest of the time,” Ken said. A native of Hope, Arkansas, Ken Duke was born to be a PGA Champion. Since turning pro in 1994, he has won championships all over the world, and has been inducted into the Arkansas Golf Hall of Fame. When he’s not on tour or on the water, you’ll find Ken with his wife, Michelle, and their daughters, Ashleigh and Lauren.

“The best feature, I think, from the TimberTech Decking is the coolness. You know, we’re always barefoot on the dock,” Ken said. “Most of the time, you walk on docks and it’s really slippery,” Ken said. “TimberTech is not slippery at all. The feel is unbelievable.” Like all TimberTech Advanced PVC collections, the Vintage Collection is slip resistant — with up to 40% better traction than competitive composite decking.
“We chose TimberTech Decking because it looks great,” Ken said. “When we first moved in, we had a concrete dock. It was hard to maintain…always getting dirty — but TimberTech is easy to clean.”
“The decking in our outdoor kitchen was really deteriorating. It was wood and rotting,” Ken said. “”I thought, why don’t we put TimberTech here as well — it’s going to be easy to maintain.” And Ken was right. TimberTech Advanced PVC is not only fade resistant, it’s stain resistant too. So any kitchen spill will clean up easily.

Ken’s old concrete doc had a 1-foot step-down from the seawall, so his nice, level TimberTech deck is definitely a step up! “With 30 weeks on the road playing golf, fishing is my out,” Ken said. “With a beautiful dock, I just roll my fishing equipment down there — it’s easy access.”
