CHICAGO, IL—CPG International LLC announced today that Jesse Singh has joined the company as President and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Eric K. Jungbluth, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Throughout his 14-year career at 3M, he served in a variety of escalating leadership roles at the company including President of 3M Health Information Systems, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Vice President of Stationary and Office Supplies, including leading the Scotch® and Post-it® brands, and President of Sumitomo 3M.
“Leading CPG is a tremendous opportunity, and I look forward to working with the company’s incredibly talented and dedicated leadership team and its committed employees as we continue to accelerate our growth,” said Mr. Singh. “CPG has built a strong position as a market leading building products manufacturer, and my top priority will be to continue to grow the business through product innovation, strengthening our distribution network and providing superior service to our customers.”
“We are delighted to welcome Jesse to CPG. After completing a rigorous search, the Board feels strongly that Jesse has the experience and leadership to build on the strong momentum and growth plans and lead the next stage of CPG’s growth,” said Dan Lukas, a Director of CPG and Partner in the Private Equity Group of Ares Management, L.P., and Russ Hammond, a Director of CPG and Director of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, in a joint statement. “In addition, the Board would like to thank Eric Jungbluth for his service as CEO. Over the past eight years, Eric has been instrumental in building CPG into a market leading building products manufacturer, with an unrivaled portfolio of premium brands and products, track record of innovation, distribution network, and a best-in-class management team.”
Prior to joining 3M, Mr. Singh spent several years in general management, marketing and account management for GE and led a part of Arthur Andersen’s business consulting practice in Minneapolis.
