Designed with a modern aesthetic and modular flexibility, Impression Privacy Screen is a multiuse extension of the Impression Rail Express Collection. Made from durable, non-combustible aluminum, they are code compliant, install with ease, and feature a patent-pending FlexChannel™ and FlexChannel Gasket™ that keeps the slats from rattling.

Can Impression Privacy Screen be used as a guard rail?

Privacy Screen is code rated for all railing guard rail requirements at 36″ and 42″ Railing Heights per our published code report ESR 4217. When installing the 72″ high privacy system it requires the addition of an Impression Rail Express top rail at the rail heights if the project requires railing code, as shown in the instructions.

What are the max spans and heights you can create with Impression Privacy Screen?

Impression Privacy Screen Can span 6′ wide and up to 6′ high. If a larger span is required, an additional post, slat, and frame kit will be needed. Refer to our published code report ESR 4217 for specific details around railing spans.

What is the actual length of the Impression Privacy Screen Slats?

Impression Privacy Screen Slats are 67.938″ in length. When placed at full length into the FlexChannel and between the posts the system will measure 72.438″ center of post to center of post. What is Impression Privacy Screen’s Warranty Impression Privacy Screen carries the same comprehensive 25-Year Railing Limited Warranty as our Impression Rail Express Railing System.

Can Impression Privacy Screen be used as a stand-alone privacy screen on a deck?

Yes, the Impression Privacy screen can be installed on a deck without the Impression Rail Express Top rail, as long as railing fall protection is not required by code and local building inspector requirements. Also, Impression Privacy screen can be installed onto a concrete patio for privacy or into the ground with our 102″ post to hide an A/C Units, garbage cans, etc.
